By now you may have seen this graphic making an appearance on your social feeds. Trust us when we say, it’s for a good cause. There is currently a law in Minnesota preventing breweries from selling a wider range of packaging options from our taprooms. Ever wonder why you’re only able to buy 64 or 25.4 ounce crowlers or growlers? Ever wonder why we can’t sell 16 ounce cans directly to you from our brewery? There is a legacy law in Minnesota that continues to put a damper on our abilities to grow and deliver the most ideal format for fresh, shelf stable beer.

Especially now, when revenues are fractions of what they were before COVID, we’re all looking for additional ways to survive. We have a very legitimate fear that the boom in local MN craft brewing, which took almost a decade to cultivate, could be dismantled in just a few short weeks.

Take Action:

  1. Find and contact your legislators

  2. Get involved with the MN Craft Brewers Guild
