We’d like to announce a collaboration we’ve been working on that celebrates community and craft. We teamed up with our friends at Dovetail Cafe, Almanac Coffee, and the Duluth Folk School to curate a beer and release event that impartseach of our passion projects.
Join us in Duluth on Saturday, December 3rd, from 3-10 as we kickoff our project. Enjoy a taste of our beer, sip and sway to live music by Slabtown Ragband from 5-7PM, take advantage of some relevant beer/coffee flash tattoos by Voyager Tattoo, and stick around for a Tamarack Dance at 7:30PM. We're also hosting a raffle which will include Almanac merch, Portage merch, Dovetail merch, and a free hand-crafted pie! $5 cover for the event, to help cover bands that will be performing.
Onto the beer, we'd like to introduce Better Together. It's a pastry stout inspired by Dovetail's famous chocolate chip cookie with a tasty cup of Almanac Espresso on the side. We utilized a myriad of malts and adjuncts to produce a smooth and decadent stout, filled with notes of rich coffee, chocolate, and vanilla.
